I just purchased a WinFast PxDTV1300 T and have installed it in a new Windows 7 64 bit RC based system. My issue is when I scan for channels using the PVR2 application that came with the card, or Windows Media Centre, the device does not find any service providers or channels. PVR2 and MCE both recognise that the card is installed. I have set the Country and City to Australia and Melbourne, where I live. The Signal Strength indicator in PVR2 detects that the aerial cable is plugged in and shows strong signal levels. The drivers installed correctly and Control Panel reports that the device is working correctly.
I've tried the latest drivers from the manufacturer's site as well as what came with the card. I have also tried two different PxDTV1300 T cards and got exactly the same result with both and also tried it in two different PCI-E slots, again giving the same results. I have another DTV card (Twinhan 3021) in another PC, running XP,which successfully finds all channels when connected to the same aerial so I'm confident that the issue isn't with the signal. Can you provide any assistance on what is required to get this card correctly finding TV channels? Has the card been tested with Windows 7 yet?
Is there a different driver that I should be using? Thanks in advance.
As an update to my issue. When I originally installed the card, it was after I had already installed Windows 7 RC on the machine. I have since reinstalled Windows 7, with the card present in the machine. This time I got an updated driver for the TV tuner card as part of the Windows 7 Update process. With this driver the card works fine with MCE. This confirms to me that the aerial and card are functioning correctly.
Leadtek WinFast PxTV1200 Driver Download. Leadtek WinFast PxTV1200 Driver for Windows XP/Vista/7 32/64-bit. Programma dlya nastrojki antenni 4g. Download the latest drivers for your WinFast PVR2000 to keep your Computer. 5.42M; Supported OS: Windows 10 64 bit, Windows 8.1 64bit, Windows 7 64bit,.
However, the PVR2 application software that comes with the card still has the same issue of not recognising any service providers or channels when doing a scan. I received an email from Leadtek saying that they haven't announced a Windows 7 version of the drivers or application software yet, but will try and get it developed ASAP.
So I can use the card through MCE, under Windows 7 RC, but will have to wait to alternatively use it through the PVR2 application from Leadtek. As an update to my issue.
