Just want to add to it. I find that once you leave more than 10% of internal storage free & update your ROM to 1.66 or newer, freezing never happens. If your into music, you Going to have to buy some good ear buds. The one it comes with songs very tin-pan like.
Because Android 2.2 has flash in its browser i find that better for some web sites so i dual booted my phone, so i can use the web browser from android 2.2 when i need flash. • Rating 0 • •. How is the audio quality+camera and internet browsing.hello, I've been using HD2 for about a year now, found it to be the best of all the Windows PDA or smartphone that I've owned since 2001. My opinion to your questions: SOUND QUALITY Quite OK to me, treble's a little on the high side to me. Some guys might like it (they say it's clearer) but I'm not that type, I found it too hard for my ear but still it's OK. Loudness to me is also acceptable.
I've heard my friend's Nokia phone which has very loud sound but usually when it's too loud, the bass would sound breaking, I guess it's always a compromise as all phones have small speakers anyway. Overall, my personal rating is 8 out of 10 for sound quality base on music playing via built in speaker. CAMERA Quite all right to me. If you manage your expectation well, that is not to expect much, I believe you can accept it's quality without a problem. Personally I'm happy with it as it is - just treating it as a secondary camera to my digital cam. The screen is however above my expectation, much better than my friend's Xperia and Iphone 3GS when viewing the youtube.
I believe the Motorola ZN5 has one of the best 5 MP cam for a mobile, better than even Samsung's 8 MP as reviewed. Overall my personal rating, 8 out of 10 on this one. It has a built in flash with dual LEDs so it's definitely a plus here, brighter than many phones and can double as a torchlight at dark places. (with Torchbright software) Very handy & useful to me.
INTERNET This is one of my favorite on this phone. The big screen 4.3', the Opera 9.7, the Youtube, this is where I spent alot of time with. Clarity is good, in fact better than good but not the best yet. People are talking about HD (high definition) these days so don't compare it with a HD. It'll be the best for the non HDs. Coupled with the big screen, you'll enjoy viewing it than most of the other 3.5' screens. If you are talking about the speed of website browsing between pages, I would say it's good.
